MOST SPORTSMANLIKE AWARD

Tera Swan from Yellowknife, was awarded the MOST SPORTSMANLIKE AWARD at the 2005 Canadian Youth Challenge 5 Pin Bowling Championships in Hamilton, Ontario, which took place March 17th – 20th.

Tera is a first year bowler who competed against the top Youth Bowlers in Canada between the ages of 14 to 19 and she impressed the Judges of Play with her positive attitude and constant smile.

Congratulations to Debbie Euchner for winning the 300 Club tournament. Mike Penkala finished second and Helen Lawson was third.

Congratulations to Len Haener for her convincing win at the League Executive tournament. Her plus 169 was over a hundred pins ahead of her closest competitor. Lens wins a free season’s lineage for her victory.

First place for Yellowknife team!

Congratulations to the Yellowknife team! They finished in first place in the qualifying round and ended in Second Place after the stepladder. Well done!

Not Official yet but Debbie Euchner with 9.5 points and Helen Lawson with 10 points out of a possible 11 should lead the way onto the Ladies All-Star Team. Debbie also finished first in the Ladies’ Singles! Great effort everyone. The Hay River Team was successful in finishing in fourth place after the qualifying round!
